The “New Cities” Inspirational Conferences debate on a new approach for urban development, adjusted to the contemporary urban challenges and the quality of life in cities. The conferences elaborate on the philosophy of a “human city”, promoting active participation and involvement in city life, the means to restore individuals as the centrepiece of future city planning.
The audience, made of cultural figures, architects, town planners, landscape designers, academics, chief architects, engineers, entrepreneurs, local and national government officials, NGO representatives, transportation management specialists, environmental specialists, students but also the general public, will be taken on a fascinating four-hour journey through the cities of the world with present challenges and future solutions.
How will cities evolve? Are cities inhabitant-friendly enough? Which are the global trends in urban planning? Are we going to live in vertical cities?
These are only some of the questions that the speakers invited will answer.

"Case Study: Palas Campus, a renewed area of Iași”.
Palas Campus is one of Romania’s largest office buildings in terms of area, offering more than 60,000 square metres for rent. It consolidates Iași city centre as a destination that facilitates the development of local entrepreneurship and of the creative industries. Palas Campus has 9 floors (2U/G+G+6F) and comprises 6 buildings which are situated on a common ground with 4 overground floors. These buildings are designed with different heights in compliance with the city skyline, with green areas both around them and on the 4th floor terrace.
